Yesterday, I made a cameo on PORTER magazine’s Instagram for World Meditation Day. I shared my 3 top tips for creating calm in a hectic world. The first is meditation: I practise Vedic meditation using a mantra that’s specific to me, and it helps me ground my #Vata personality and become aware of what’s going on in my mind-body. The second is sound bath meditation — a lovely way to create space for us to remind ourselves that we are all vibration, and that all those vibrations feed into each other and into how we feel at any given moment. The third is humming, which is a powerful way to create those vibrations with your own voice, and helps with your breath and with winding down when you need to relax or go to sleep.
