That’s why I’m thrilled to add the East by West Thumb Drum to my growing collection of East by West exclusives. The East by West Thumb Drum is an easy-to-play percussion instrument with a beautiful rich resonance. Inspired by the Mbira, a traditional North African instrument, it features 10 metal keys, also known as “tines.” Each tine is tuned to a specific pitch to form a musical scale, making it perfect for playing standalone tunes or to accompany other instruments. Free-style and enjoy creating your own melodies or play famous tunes from “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” to “You Are My Sunshine.” I hope you love your Thumb Drum as much as I do!
