INSTAGRAM TAKEOVER - JULY 2020
Next week, from Monday to Friday, I’ve invited some of my favourite faces from the wellbeing world to take over my Instagram live for workshops, talks and classes. Throughout the week you can look forward to practical sessions designed for your mind, body and spirit. Tune in live if you can, but the sessions will all be posted on my Instagram feed the following day so you can catch up or rewatch in your own time. Read on for the full line-up:
Monday 27th, 12pm-12:30pm: The Human Method with Nahid de Belgeonne
Join Nahid for one of her signature Human Method classes — blending somatic movements and restorative yoga poses with breathing techniques and meditation to soothe your nervous system and reboot your brain-to-body communication.
Tuesday 28th, 12pm-12:30pm: Dr Nidhi Pandya, 3rd generation Ayurvedic Practitioner
Dr Nidhi will discuss the Doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, including what they are, what they mean and how you are not just one of the three but a bit of them all. If you’re unsure about your Doshic make-up, Dr Nidhi will be taking questions during the session.
Wednesday 29th, 5pm-5.30pm: Gentle yoga with Tara Stiles, Founder of Strala Yoga
Tara will be hosting a 30-minute soft yoga practice to calm your mind and gently open up your body with her signature easy style. You’ll finish feeling refreshed, centred and connected.
Thursday 30th, 6pm-6:20pm: Sonja Shah-Williams, Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner and Founder of Ayurvedic health brand Anala
Join Sonja for a talk on digestion, one of the key pillars of health according to Ayurveda. Sonja will talk about optimal digestion, emotional digestion and give you some key pillars on how to nurture your Agni, aka digestive fire.
Friday 31st, 12pm-12:30pm: Breathwork with Aicha Mckenzie, Founder of AMCK Fit and Breathe by AMCK
Former gymnast and dancer Aicha will be leading a short breathing class to discover your breath as a powerful tool you can use to balance, reset, energise, activate, transform, heal, exhale.
