LA VIDA VEDA FESTIVAL TOUR
Can you believe it? It's almost summer, and summer means festival season! I'm so excited to bring the art of Ayurveda with a Western twist to some of the best wellbeing events around the UK. Getting to meet new people and share my passion for "living la vida veda" is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, so I feel very lucky to be spreading the word at a whole host of events over the next few months.
I've already kicked off with a bank holiday cooking demo and talk at Be:Fit festival. I launched my latest cookbook with Be:Fit back in November as a mini East by West festival, so it was brilliant to join the team again on one of the sunniest days of the year so far. I talked tongue scrapers and pizzas — it doesn't get better than that! Keep reading for where to find me from now till August and snag your tickets.
On 13th May, I'll be at the UK’s largest celebration of the fitness and wellness scene, Balance Festival, held at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. I'll be hosting a food demo from 1.30pm, teaching you how to cook one of my favourite dishes, as well as chatting a bit more about Ayurvedic ingredients I love and how you can incorporate the 5,000-year-old science into your life easily.
Next up, I'll be at Mind Body Spirit giving you the full 360 view on Ayurveda: helping you understand your Dosha and sharing tips on how to infuse Ayurveda into your everyday, along with delicious ways to transform the way you eat, move, and sleep. Find me at Olympia London on 26th May starting at 10.45am!
From almond milk to "bliss balls," find out why the new health rules are actually the old ones with Ayurveda. I'll be at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show on 7th July for two East by West talks amongst a breathtaking array of floral displays.
On 29th July, I'll be setting off for Cornwall to teach another Ayurvedic cooking class at Port Eliot Festival, a mid-summer celebration of words, music, imagination, ideas, nature, food, fashion, flowers, laughter, exploration and fun. At one of the UK's most well-known summer festivals, I'll be treating guests to some colourful dishes that are perfect for the summer months.
Last but not least, I'm running off to the circus — the Soul Circus, that is. As part of this Yoga & Wellness Festival in the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside, I will be hosting an Ayurvedic talk and accompanying masterclass in late August. Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga, so I'll be teaching yogis and newbies alike everything that they can take and use from the ancient science to live to their fullest.
On 26th August, I'll be at the Big Feastival on a farm in the Cotswolds for an Ayurvedic cooking demo. Come for the food, stay for the music and event line-up!
