CLEANSE + RESET FOR WINTER

It's that time of year just before an even bigger time of year! Yes this is the 5th and last official Cleanse + Reset that I'll be doing for 2020, though to be honest it's been my fallback these past few months as indigestion and acid reflux in pregnancy are REAL!!! So far I have managed to avoid all the antacids and over the counter medicines just by going back to simple, easy to digest, nourishing meals as per the plan whenever I overdo it — which is easily done when your eyes are bigger than your literal stomach, which is getting more and more squished as the days go by.

So back to this time of year — it's the weekend before the Winter Solstice on 22 December, when we hit the shortest day of the year (don't even bother opening the curtains) but the good news is that from then on in we get longer again! It's also a wonderful time to reset yourself while you're rushing with Christmas plans and overwhelmed by the mountain of annual festive goodies on offer everywhere you turn. Give yourself a lovely break and a great Dinacharya or routine framework to work from and come back to until the end of the year. Even if there’s only one day when you can implement the plan, or even roughly implement, you'll feel better. Just being more aware of what your body needs and going a little bit slower than the current pace of life dictates gives you more room to be yourself.
