SUSTAINABLE GIFT GUIDE: FOR KIDS
I carefully pick every product I feature on my website, but just so you know, I may earn a small commission when you buy through the links on this page.
Finding fun gifts for young kids is often pretty easy — but avoiding plastic isn’t so much. Here I’ve found some beautiful ideas for children that are made with sustainable materials and under fair conditions. All the kids in your life will love these bits this Christmas, and I’m taking notes for when my little one is older!
While the items I’ve outlined below are new, I’m also a big second-hand shopper when it comes to purchasing anything so whilst I can’t put these items in a gift guide for you to see, I definitely urge you to check out your local charity shop and see what you might be able to find — my favourites from last year were board games and books and a fun “guess who”-type game with cardboard hats which replaced the crackers at Christmas and will be part of post-lunch games again at the table as we contemplate pudding. I took the New York times on a charity shop spree this time last year and some of the items we found still had their tags on!
I hope you find something in here to make everyone on your list happy!
