USING AND LOOKING AFTER YOUR EAST BY WEST KANSA WAND
MARMA POINTS
In Ayurveda, there are 107 marma or energy points (similar to accupressure/accupunture points) on the body, 37 of which are on the head, face and neck. By gently massaging the scalp and top of the neck with the Neem Comb and hands we naturally stimulate some of these marma points thereby helping to remove energy blockages and improve the flow of prana (life force energy AKA Chi/Qi). With very light pressure and slow circular clockwise movements we can use the Kansa Wand to directly target these marma points. Scroll through to see the marma points on face, head and neck:
PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS
Always use your East by West Kansa Wand with a beauty oil or serum so that the wand can glide over the skin and scalp, allowing for gentle movement on Marma points and a smoother massage. A great way to get the most of your beauty product, the practise of using the Kansa Wand helps to increase product absorption. From everyday face oils to supercharging serums, and dosha-specific mood-balancing body oils to all-purpose options, click on the images below to find out more about some of my favourite Ayurvedic and natural products:
